HTC officials announced today that the 21st Annual HTC Christmas Card to the Community will premiere December 24 at 8 p.m. with programming for the entire family on HTC Digital Cable Channel 4 just in time for the holidays.
You will not want to miss the local programming celebration of the season beginning Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day on HTC Digital Cable Channel 4. There are two musical presentations showcased in the 2016 program including the Belin Chancel Choir and Orchestra of Belin Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet and the Long Bay Symphony along with the Carolina Master Chorale at All Saints Church in Pawleys Island.
The HTC Christmas Card to the Community will bring viewers a series of Christmas carols originating from Belin Methodist Church and performed by the Belin Chancel Choir and Orchestra under the direction of Jim Sellers. “Gloria Deo” encourages audience participation and also encourages viewers at home to sing along. In addition, the HTC Christmas Card will give viewers a front row seat to a special holiday experience hosted and sponsored by All Saints Church starring the area’s professional orchestra and vocal ensemble and soloists. It’s the Long Bay Symphony and Carolina Master Chorale performance of G.F. Handel’s famous oratorio “Messiah,” under the leadership of Music Director and Conductor, Maestro Charles Jones Evans.
As an added bonus this year, HTC will also air previous Christmas Cards to the Community programs from seasons past each Friday, Saturday and Sunday before Christmas.
